American Indian Summer Institute – a free residential experience for high school students. Participants stay at the campus dormitories to experience university life while interacting with professors, admissions, staff, college students, and invited American Indian professionals to enhance their preparation for college admissions.

The original model at the University of California that our staff worked with has since expanded to the California State University (CSU) system and other states. The Advancing Communities Foundation is playing an active role in expanding the AICRA model nation-wide, in order for other states to benefit from the partnerships and coalition-building that AICRA has leveraged for a stronger impact on students.
